My Design Journey

I’ve been in the arts for as long as I can remember.

As a child, I loved drawing animals, people, still life, and copying Lisa Frank illustrations and Sailor Moon characters. I was lucky and had parents that fostered my artistic side. They enrolled me in various art programs, including weekly art classes at a private studio from 4th-10th grade.

In middle school, when the internet was starting to really grow and social media sites were just beginning to blossom, I was dipping my toes into the world of digital design and html coding from customizing my xanga page, livejournal, tumblr, and Myspace accounts (hey Millennials, IYKYK!).

I eventually graduated cum laude from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2009 with a BFA in Painting. While my focus was on painting, I explored many mediums— including graphic design. From my studies and practices, I learned the invaluable skills of proactive and independent learning, being resourceful, creatively solving problems, working collaboratively, and having a sharp eye for aesthetics and their impact.

Since graduating, I worked mostly as an art teacher and freelance graphic designer. My other interests in metaphysics, spirituality, and natural healing led me to become a yoga practitioner, a certified Reiki Master Teacher, and an Access Consciousness Bars practitioner. With my dual interests in the world of art/design and healing, I have come to help many family, friends, and people in creative and healthcare industries with making their logos, websites, business cards, and more. My intuitive skills from the visual arts and healing arts help me tap into the vibe of my design client and deliver their dream brand and website.

Being able to give people and their businesses a branding makeover that expresses their highest self is incredibly satisfying to me. I get to deeply connect with others, support them in their life and careers, while also making use of my many skills.

I’m passionate about helping those up to positively impactful work in the world with furthering their reach and influence. I know it takes a village to make anything a success, and I hope to be part of yours. Let’s work together to bring more clarity into your business and give it the refreshing start it deserves.

Let’s team up!
